In the Name of Allāh.

Perfect praise is due to Allāh, who made the Jumu’ah prayer an act of worship to cleanse us from our sins and elevate our positions before Him. From the foregoing, part of the great virtues of this day, which calls for reflection, is its weekly awe-inspiring congregational prayer as we only converge at a bigger Masjid in a locality, unlike the five daily Ṣalawāt. Well, having different (or more than one) Masjid for Jumu’ah prayer in a locality is with respect to its population size.

Hence, whoever (of the men that) does not observe Jumu’ah prayer without any valid reason (in Islām) shall be punished. As recorded in Musnad Aḥmad, it was mentioned the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever leaves three Jumu’ah (prayers) consecutively considering it not very important, Allāh will seal his heart.” Oh, it’s not shocking that some hearts became hardened and corrupted (especially to the veracity).

I beseech Allāh to save us from the evils of abandoning our obligations to Him. (Aameen)
