MESSENGER OR GOD?

In the Name of Allāh.

No-no! They should bring the different versions of the Bible out (such as Living Bible, Amplified Bible, New Jerusalem Bible, Good News Bible, Holy Bible, New American Standard Bible, American Translation of the Holy Bible, and others), then show us where Jesus said: “I’m God, worship me.” Is there any Christian that can boastfully provide us with that verse? Absolutely, no! Jesus never said, “I’m God; worship me.” What is obtainable in the Bible is that John reported (in John 5:30) that Jesus said: “I can of mine own self do nothing; as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just because I seek not my own will but the will of Him Who sent me.”

Subḥanallāh! This is Jesus’ acknowledgment that he is a Messenger of God (not God). What a clear distinction! Where is Trinity (Three in One) from then? Well, possibly the Christians couldn’t see that verse before attributing worship to Jesus (instead of God Alone). Anyway, it’s not surprising because St. Paul himself wrote in his first letter to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 15: 15): “We are even found to be misrepresenting God…” And Allāh says (in Sūrah Al-Mā’idah [5] verse 116): “And (remember) when Allāh will say (on the Day of Resurrection): O ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allāh? He will say: Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say)…” Sincerely, that’s the truth about Prophet ‘Eesa (‘Alayhis Salām).

I beseech Allāh to save the Christians from falsehood and open their hearts to the truth of Islām. (Aameen)
