MIND THAT HELL

In the Name of Allāh.

A father visits soothsayers and his son learns sorcery. What do you await from a child whose parents are religiously bankrupted? If not the one saved by Allāh anyway. Today, what remains with some Muslims is only names. They engage in different forms of prohibition. They listen to obnoxious music, take intoxicants, commit unlawful sexual activities, consume prohibited foods (especially by sources), abandon prayer and in fact, commit disbelief.

By Allāh, we need to remember that Islām obliges us to nurture our family members on the path of righteousness, to pilot them away from all types of superstition and whim by Shayṭān and his forces, and to rely on Allāh Alone, developing the pure nature that He created in them. This way, we will altogether worship Allāh Alone. Allāh says (in Sūrah At-Tahrīm [66] verse 6): “O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones…”

Will one exultantly laugh seeing his kin taken to Hell on the Day of Judgment, whilst one is admitted into Paradise? We need to reflect.

I beseech Allāh to save us and our relations from Hell. (Aameen)
