OF THEIR QUALITIES

In the Name of Allāh.

As known, Khushū’ (humble reverence) is an integral aspect of Ṣalāt (prayer). It has to be present before it’s fully accepted by Allāh. Allāh says (in Sūrah Al-Mumenoon [23] verses 1-2): “Successful indeed are the believers: Those who offer their prayers with Khushoo’ (solemnity and full submissiveness)…” So, is your heart inclined towards Allāh or the worldly things whilst you pray?

Respected Brethren, we must be conscious of Allāh, even in prayer. Let our hearts be alive with His Remembrance, for us to be successful.

I beseech Allāh to count us among the successful ones. (Aameen)
