In the Name of Allah.
Indeed, worship is a comprehensive term that includes all actions (such as praying, fasting, supplicating, giving charity, calling to the Religion of Allah, etc.) which are pleased by Allah and done solely for Him in all sincerity (i.e. establishing that He Alone deserves it since He is our Lord) with the hope of having His Reward and not tormented with His Punishment.
Allah instructed His Messenger (in Surah Al-Anaam [6] verse 162): “Say (O Muhammad): Verily, my Salah (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the ‘Alamin (Mankind, Jinns and all that exist).”
I need to add that, an act of worship done solely for the Pleasure of Allah must be by the methodology (way or teaching) of our beloved Prophet (ﷺ). On this, many people fail by ditching the pristine way to invent their bogus ways due to ignorance or the devil’s deception. How can their perilous ways be accepted?
I beseech Allah to make us those who sincerely worship Him Alone, following the teaching of His Messenger. (Aameen)
