SEE THE IMPLICATION

In the Name of Allāh.

Ṣalāt (prayer) is so important that Allāh prescribed it in a direct conversation with His Prophet (ﷺ) at above the Heavens, having no one in-between. But, how do Muslims treat it today? Many have abandoned it like it’s not important. Allāh says (in Sūrah Maryam [19] verse 59): “Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Ṣalāt (prayers) [i.e. made their Ṣalāt to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell.”

As opined by scholars (based on sound evidence), whoever misses a prayer intentionally with no valid excuse has left the fold of Islām. Ṣalāt is an act which no one is excused from – not even the sick, traveller nor those at the battlefield; unlike Sawm or Ḥajj. O, Muslims! Please, pay attention to Ṣalāh.

I beseech Allāh to make it easy for us to always observe it. (Aameen)
