In the Name of Allāh.
Praise be to Allāh, Who gives strength to our body, returns our souls, and allows us to always remember Him. Alḥamdulillāh! As recorded in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever tells of a dream that he did not see will be commanded (on the Day of Resurrection) to tie two grains of barley together, but he will never be able to do it…”
See! Common sense suggests that lying is Ḥaram (unlawful); it’s the opposite of the truth. Lying is the cause of many evil deeds (and sins). The Prophet (ﷺ) also mentioned it as a sign of hypocrisy. More so, of the miserable is a liar. He claims to have seen such and such in a dream by spreading falsehood. No doubt, the punishment for that is so severe, except he’s forgiven (through repentance and mercy).
I beseech Allāh not to make us of the liars. (Aameen)
