In the Name of Allāh.
I once read a quote somewhere – so inspiring! It says: “If walls have ears, angels too have a pen.” What do people say when talking unnecessarily? What man utters (with his tongue) is either advantageous to him and others or destroying.
Note, unnecessary speech is most times harmful. As recorded in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “The servant speaks words, the consequences of which he does not realize, and for which he is sent down into the depth of the Fire further than the distance between the east and the west.”
Thence, one should always check if his (or her speech) at any time is true, helpful, inspiring, necessary and kind.
I beseech Allāh to let His Mercy be on him who talks to benefit and observes silence against sinful talks to be secured. (Aameen)
