In the Name of Allāh.
Verily, we know practising Islam (i.e. strictly obeying Allah) to be intrinsically easy as Allāh tells us (in Surah Al-Hajj [22] verse 78): “…And has not laid upon you in religion any hardship.”
Therefore, observing Salah, wearing the prescribed Hijab (for women), not visiting the soothsayers, etc., are all easy. If it was to be difficult, Allah won’t have ordered those obligations and prohibitions. He says (in Surah Al-Baqarah [2] verse 286): “Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope…” Then, is there anyone who will say Islam is difficult?
However, the ease of Islam does not mean permitting the forbidden (like abandoning Zakah or committing Zina) and forbidding the permitted (like keeping the beards). So, let’s not get the message misconstrued.
I beseech Allāh to ease our affairs. (Aameen)
