BE ELEVATED WITH IT

In the Name of Allāh.

When was the last time you recited the Qur’ān? What about this morning? Any plan of reciting it today? Sincerely, reciting the Qur’ān is such a very simple way to earn a fantastic reward. Every letter recited shall be recorded as ten good deeds. As recorded in Sunan At-Tirmidhi, ‘Abdullāh Ibn Mas’ūd (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) reported that Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allāh, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that Alif Lam Meem is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.” The one that finds it difficult while reciting, shall still be rewarded.

More so, each verse we memorize will raise us to a degree in Paradise. As recorded in Sunan At-Tirmidhī, it was reported by ‘Abdullāh Ibn ‘Amr (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhuma) that Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “It will be said to the companion of the Qur’ān: Recite and ascend as you recited in the world. Verily, your rank is determined by the last verse you recite.” Therefore, let’s endeavor to learn, read, and teach the Qur’ān to people.

I beseech Allāh to make it easy for us. (Aameen)
