NO MORE ACCEPTANCE

In the Name of Allāh.

We truly believe that Allāh pardons a transgressor when penitence is made and he sincerely abandons disbelief for faith. However, there are some major antecedent matters (or signs) to the event of the Hereafter (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) that scholars of Usul said won’t appear except when Eemān (Belief) and Tawbah (Repentance) shall not be taken from (i.e. be of benefit to) the ones who do not make them aforetime. This is from Allāh’s Statement (in Sūrah Al-An’ām [6] verse 158): “…The day that some of the Signs of your Lord do come, no good will it do to a person to believe then, if he believed not before, nor earned good (by performing deeds of righteousness).”

Some of the signs are the rising of the sun from its place of set (i.e. the West), the appearance of Dajjāl (Anti-Christ), the descending of ‘Eesa (Christ), and the emergence of the beasts. As recorded in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (158), Abu Hurayrah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “When three signs appear, no soul will benefit from its faith if it did not already believe or earn good by its faith: the rising of the sun from the west, the False Messiah, and the beast from the earth.”

By Allāh, we need not subscribe to the devil’s deception that Allāh is Entirely Merciful, thereby relaxing till the opportunity of turning back to Him comes to a close. Hasten to correctly believe and perform good deeds before these events.

I beseech Allāh to make us submit totally to Him before the deadline. (Aameen)
