In the Name of Allāh.

See what the world has become! Muslim men want to grow beards (i.e., facial hair) according to the Sunnah (way and teaching) of Allāh’s Prophets (‘Eesa [Jesus] inclusive), but they are regarded as backward. Muslim women want to cover and dress according to the dress code of the believing women (Maryam [Mary]; the mother of ‘Eesa inclusive), then they are considered not civilized.

Pitifully, people always scorn and laugh at the sincere believers who hasten to the obedience of their Lord. I also remember Al-Aswad Ibn Al-Muṭṭalib who used to mock our pious predecessors (the companions of the Prophet ﷺ). Solace! The table shall later turn. Allāh says (in Sūrah Al-Mutaffifin [83] verse 34): “But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers.” A proverb says: “He who laughs last, laughs best.” Let’s patiently wait and see the end.

I beseech Allāh to grant us the goodness of this life and the Hereafter. (Aameen)
