In the Name of Allāh.

Aren’t you surprised at how the criminals dance upon the precipice of Hellfire? The glittering jewels of fame and fortune shall not save them from the flames. The seductive allure of sin shall be their undoing. They will huff and puff and hop and pop in the depths of darkness.

However, the righteous who shun the ways of the morally bankrupted ones, who turn away from the lure of excessive materialism and decadence, shall find solace in the Light of Allāh; they are the successful ones. Allāh says: “Not equal are the dwellers of the Fire and the dwellers of the Paradise. It is the dwellers of Paradise that will be successful.” [Sūrah Al-Hashr (59): 20]

Dear brethren, be not deluded by the glitz and glamour of the wicked who revel in sin, who bask in the glory of corruption, for their end is a pitiful one indeed. Allāh says: “Verily, the Mujrimun (criminals, sinners, disbelievers, etc.) will be in the torment of Hell to abide therein forever.” [Sūrah Az-Zukhruf (43): 74]

So, please, let’s embrace the purity and piety that Allāh commands of us, that we may find peace and contentment in this life, and everlasting bliss in the Hereafter. Let’s turn away from the obnoxious lifestyle of the corrupt, who are the most miserable; let’s reject their sinful pursuits, and find solace in the teachings of Islām.

I beseech Allāh to grant us continued guidance, strength, and fortitude to stand firm in the face of temptation. Aameen
