MAKE IT LOOSEN!

In the Name of Allah.

Isn’t it nauseating and appalling to see Muslim women nakedly dressed in the House of Allah? Friday is not an exclusion from other days. They wear skimpy and tight dresses.

Ordinarily, a Muslim woman should pray in her room. However, she may equally pray in the Masjid with due permission sought from her Mahram cum dressing modestly when going. The poignant thing about dressing indecently is the punishment involved. As recorded in Sahih Muslim, Abu Hurayrah (RadiyaLlahu ‘Anhu) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “There will be women who will be dressed but they will be naked. Their heads will be like the humps of camels. They will not enter Paradise and will not smell its fragrance whilst it can be smelt from a far distance.”

Dear Sisters! Allah has prescribed an ideal dress code for total concealment of a Muslim woman’s beauty as clearly instructed in the Quran. He says (in Surah Al- Ahzab [33] verse 59): “O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers (i.e. believing women) to draw their cloaks all over their bodies. That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed (i.e. molested). And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Today is another Friday. I hope my sisters who may wish to attend Jumu’ah prayer but in skimpy blouse or miniskirt, will from today start wearing lengthy and loose garments.

I beseech Allah to soften our hearts and grant us a better understanding of His Words. (Aameen)
